The Center for Korean Research closed its fall 2025 season with a dynamic slate of lectures and conversations that brought together scholars, students, and community members across disciplines. We’re grateful to all who attended, asked questions, and helped cultivate a lively and generous intellectual atmosphere throughout the semester. Your participation continues to energize our work and to shape CKR as a hub for critical inquiry into Korea’s past, present, and global entanglements.
This fall’s programs showcased a wide range of perspectives in Korean studies and we were fortunate to host speakers whose research pushes the field in new directions. Each event deepened the conversations happening within and beyond our academic community, and we look forward to carrying this momentum into the spring.
For those who couldn’t join us—or who would like to return to the talks—we’re pleased to share that all recordings from our fall lecture series are now available on the CKR YouTube page. Feel free to explore them at your own pace and to share them with colleagues and students. Thank you again for making this fall such an engaging and memorable season and we look forward to seeing you back in spring.
